Information about Wanted in Africa |

Wantedinafrica.com®, part of Wanted
Worldwide Ltd, has been launched as a result of our experience
with the websites wantedinrome.com and wantedineurope.com and
with the paper magazine Wanted in Rome. It is designed
to give people living in Africa local news, listings of cultural
events and information
about useful services in selected cities across the continent.
It also provides classified advertising facilities for all users. A bit of history
The paper magazine Wanted
in Rome ® started in Rome in the mid 1980s
to give foreign residents information about the ins and outs of life in
Italy's capital city. In the mid 1990s the magazine launched its first website,
wantedinrome.com, which has been upgraded constantly in line with the very
latest services available on the internet. In 2005 it launched a second
website, wantedineurope.com, to provide local information for people relocating
across Europe. What's new
We have now launched wantedinafrica.com on the back of our experience in Europe. We give coverage
of news and cultural events in selected cities across the
continent, which we hope will be useful for both permanent
residents and for foreigners living there for short periods.
We provide a guide to the main residential areas in each
city with details of accommodation, transport, services
and recreational facilities. There is also a section where
users can place classified
advertisements and events online
themselves under the city of their choice.
Free sections
Classifieds may be placed
online free
of charge (maximum 20 words) in a number of categories:
jobs wanted, personal, exchanges, household sales, health
and fitness, private lessons etc (see box below). Events
and suggestions for the directory may also be published
online free of charge.
Paying sections
Classifieds in the real estate, jobs
vacant and services sections must be paid for (see box
below). The price starts at €15 for 20 words, and
