Over 20 artists and artisans from all over Ghana are displaying their work at the fourth African Gift Fair organised by the African Art and Culture Development Company Ltd at Osu in Accra.

The ten-day fair, which opened on 28 November, presents an estimated 24,000 items made from local materials and visitors and buyers can also observe the artists at work.

The event is to promote the arts and crafts industry as a way of creating jobs and improving livelihoods. The organisers also hope to reach other markets abroad.
