Women with alcohol problems can now attend a women-only meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) at the Arusha Community Church (ACC) on Fridays at 17.00. AA already holds four weekly sessions in English and four in Swahili in the AAC and the Monduli Roman Catholic Church, but these are all for both men and women. Narcotics Anonymous (NA) also holds two weekly meetings in Swahili for men and women. Programmes are run by former alcoholics and drug addicts. For times and information tel.
