Staff at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Arusha have begun receiving notification of the termination of their services in September, Hirondelle news agency reports.

The termination affects 349 out of 1,042 staff members employed in the Arusha and Kigali offices, or around one third of the total.

The move anticipates the scheduled end of the court
