Young Mozambicans are to benefit from a subsidised housing scheme in the coastal Costa do Sol neighourhood of Maputo.

The project, called Casa Jovem, is an initiative of the Joaquim Chissano Foundation (FJC) of former president Joaquim Chissano. The foundation is to spend US$100 million building 1,836 housing units in a complex that will also include shops, banks, a children
