After the bombings that killed more than 100 people in northeast Nigeria around the city of Damaturu, the US embassy in Nigeria is warning that the Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram, which claimed responsibility for the killings, may be planning to bomb hotels in the capital Abuja.

Regarded as being unusually specific, the embassy identified the Hilton, Nicon Luxury and Sheraton hotels as possible targets of the militants
