In this interdisciplinary contemporary dance performance choreographer Pak Ndjamena and visual artist Rafael Bordal Mouzinho base their inspiration on the centaur from Greek mythology - half horse, half human - to find poetic inspiration in the violent tragedies of our time.
The piece was first performed in December 2013 in Maputo as part of the Kinani festival and then toured in Germany. It has now been revised and extended with the addition of video projections.
Ndjamena studied dance in Maputo and founded the Esculturas Humanas Contemporary Dance Company. Centro Cultural Franco Mocambicano (CCFM).
