International mining and energy conference in Maputo

The third edition of the Mozambique Mines and Energy Conference takes place in Maputo from 24 - 25 April.

The two-day conference is designed to strengthen Mozambique’s mining and energy potential, and includes a commercial exhibition, round table meetings, seminars, tourist trips and technical visits.

The event is organised by the National Directorate for Mines in collaboration with other private agencies and is supported by Mozambique’s mining resources and energy ministries.

Among the speakers at the event are the Mozambican prime minister Aires Ali, mining resources minister Esperança Bias, and energy minister Salvador Namburete.

The event's venue is Centro Internacional de Conferencias Joaquim Chissano, Av. da Marginal 51.
