Movie Projection: Invitation to the Dance

18 October 2012. Goethe Institut projects the movie Invitation to Dance by Gerhard Schick.

It documents the working process of the German choreographer Gerda König, affected by muscular dystrophy, while she creates a dance with disabled performers in Kenya. The film demonstrates how art is capable of creating bridges between people with and without disabilities, as well as among continents, races and cultures.
