Reading by Chuma Nwokolo

26 September 2012. On occasion of the Writers Project of Ghana, Goethe Institut hosts this reading by the Ghanaian writer Chuma Nwokolo.

Nwokolo has published the African Writing magazine and written seven books, including two novels for young adults, entitled The Extortionist and Dangerous Inheritance as well as a poetry collection, Memories of Stone, the novel, Diaries of a Dead African, the novel anthologies, African Tales at Jailpoint, One More Tale for the Road, and most recently, a collection of short stories, entitled The Ghost of Sani Abacha. His biography, entitled Diary of a Dead African, was awarded in 2003 by La Internazionale among the three best stories worldwide.

Nwokolo will be present at the reading, which will be followed by a short public discussion.
