City residents are to take to the streets on 11 March for the second edition of the Red Bull/YAZZ fitness walk to promote the importance of taking regular exercise. Participants in the 20-kilometre exercise organised by Accras Maximum Gym and Fitness Centre will be led by education and sports minister, Yaw Osafo-Maafo, and his deputy, O. B. Amoah, Ghana News Agency reports. Over 34 organisations including churches and keep fit clubs in Accra have confirmed their participation in the event. The walk begins at Osekan Beach on High Street and passes through Adabraka, Kaneshie and Mataheko before finishing at the gym in Dansoman. After the walk there will be a lecture on the relationship between fitness and diet.
