9 Nov 2006. Carola Lentz, professor of anthropology at Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany, presents her book Ethnicity and the Making of History in Northern Ghana. Drawing on 20 years of research, the book explores the creation and redefinition of ethnic and territorial boundaries by African and European colonial powers. Professor Aloysius Denkabe from the English department of the University of Ghana, Legon, will introduce the book. 17.30.
