The Cairo jazz festival returns for its sixth edition with a mix of concerts, workshops and master classes.
In addition to the Egyptian musicians there are also groups from Japan and Australia and numerous European countries.
There are also activities for children such as a photography workshop, how to read music courses and a puppet show.
The festival was started by Egyptian jazz musician Amro Salah.
It takes place at Cairo Jazz Club and Al-Azhar park.
