18 January 2011. After a very successful debut concert at Goethe Institut last September, the Royal Obonu Drummers, a group composed by the drummers Mustapha Tettey Addy and Max Weissenfeldt, returns to Accra with another evening dedicated to Ghanaian drum artistry. This duo combines different traditions and drum languages of the Ga, Ewe, Dagomba, Ashanti and Lobi people from Ghana. Two dancers will accompany the duo to give the audience some visual help to better understand the acoustic complexity of the group.

Concert starts at 19.30.
