29 March 2006. At around 09.10 on 29 March Accra will experience a total eclipse of the sun, when the moon passes in front of the sun, completely blocking out its rays. The British Council is inviting people to watch the phenomenon over a breakfast of clairs, croissants and drinks at its premises in the capital. Special eclipse viewers will be provided. 08.00-10.30. Open to all.
