Make music at Drum Mania (African Drumming)

The general public is invited to come along and make music with The Drum Mania band. This weekly event starts with a short performance of rhythmic sounds, after which the audience is given a demonstration of the basic techniques before being allowed to join in.

Ongoing. Time will fly by as you work up a sweat beating drums with the Drum Mania group members: Patrick, Michael, Ala and Zenzi. You will experience the rhythmic sounds and regal ceremony of a typical African tribe and depart the venue feeling upbeat, enlightened and alive.

Drum Mania takes place every Wednesday night from 20.30 to 22.30. Tickets cost R60 with an added R20 if you wish to hire drums.
