Nederburg Concert Series.

10 June-28 Oct 2007. The newly decorated Nederburg manor house in Paarl is the setting for the annual series of concerts of classical and contemporary music. On 15 July talented young tenor Louis Loock performs Schubert and Schumann among others. He is followed on 26 Aug by renowned Russian pianist Margarita Shevchenko playing Scarlatti, Handel, Brahms and Chopin; and on 23 September by cellist Hans Huyssen playing three suites by Bach. The series closes on 28 Oct with a concert on the lawn in front of the Manor house featuring successful South African fusion band CODA. Tickets R60-R125. Concerts start at 17.00.
