For the series Writers’ Project, this reading is held by the Ghanaian writer, poet and academic Dr. Mawuli Adjei, who reads some extracts from his novel Taboo. Adjei is also a British Chevening Fellow and has taught English in Nigeria, Libya and Ghana. At the University of Ghana, Adjei teaches among the others African Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Popular Literature, Practice in Criticism and Creative Writing. So far he has published three novels, including Taboo in 2012.
