4 Aug 2007. Fourteen talented young musicians from the Western Cape will perform with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra at the annual youth classical music festival, now in its 36th edition. The solo instrumentalists and singers have been selected by audition from among 70 music students resident or studying the province, and are aged 14-25. The two-hour programme is conducted by Chris Dowdeswell. R60. 19.30.
