Broadcasters, filmmakers, producers, advertising agency executives, regulators and policymakers from all over Africa are expected in Nairobi for the first African Broadcast and Film Conference from 23-25 September. The gathering at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre will explore such issues as competition, advertising, multi-media platforms such as the internet, local content development, piracy, production technology and regulatory and policy issues. The conference is being organised by AITEC Africa, which promotes and facilitates the development of ICT on the continent, and held under the auspices of Kenya
