Cape Town residents could see city streets renamed after murdered local musician Taliep Petersen, poets Jan Rabie and Uys Krige, heart surgeon Chris Barnard and freedom fighters Anton Fransch, Ashley Kriel and Colleen Williams among others if recommendations made by a special advisory panel get the necessary approval. Other proposals by the team of experts include changing the names of a handful of streets currently named after apartheid-era prime ministers to honour some of the country
