Chinese goods fair in Dar es Salaam

The Chinese government will stage an exhibition of Chinese merchandise in Dar es Salaam from 28 June to 8 July, as part of China’s plan to hold goods exhibitions across Africa, beginning this year.

The Chinese fairs in Africa are designed to promote and increase trade and economic relations between China and African countries.

The fair in Dar es Salaam will be jointly-hosted by China's ministry of commerce and the provincial governments of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guandong provinces.

The event will cover 3,000 sqm with 140 booths, and will be held at the Dar es Salaam International Exhibition Centre during the city’s 36th annual international trade fair.
