Seven people including one child have been injured in clashes with police during an operation to evict hundreds of squatters from unfinished government housing at Delft on the Cape Flats. Riot-squad officers fired rubber bullets and stun grenades after people threw stones to prevent their belongings from being loaded onto removal lorries.
