Ethiopia goes to the polls.

Ethiopians will go to the polls in April to elect both their local government representatives and fill the parliamentary seats left vacant by the opposition following the general elections of May 2005. Local elections will take place on different dates in different parts of the country, while the parliamentary by-elections will be held on 14 April, the ministry of information has said.
