Preparations are underway to launch the Ethiopian Commodities Exchange (ECX), the first regulated commodities market in Ethiopia. Registration for prospective members began in February and special warehouses in six cities across the country are due to go into operation shortly.
The exchange is based in Mercato in the commercial heart of the capital near the country
