Ghanaians are being invited to design a logo symbolising 50 years of diplomatic relations between Ghana and Germany, which the two countries will celebrate in 2007. Organised by the German embassy in Accra, the competition is open to all and the winner will receive a prize of three million cedis (250). Entries should be submitted electronically and also in print form in colour on a white A4 sheet and they can be presented to the Goethe Institut in Accra or to the embassy directly. The deadline for submissions is 30 June and the winner will be announced in mid-July. The chosen logo will accompany publicity material for the special programme of events to mark the anniversary next year. For information contact the German embassy on tel. +233 (0) 21 221311/241082.
