The 45th edition of the Maputo International Trade Fair (Facim) will take place from 31 August to 6 September. Businesses especially from the southern African region will come together in the Mozambican capital to present and promote their latest products and services in the areas of communications, consumer goods and textiles among other things.

So far 15 countries and entities have confirmed their participation according to local news reports. These are South Africa, Angola, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Zambia, Kenya, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam and the special administrative region of Macau in China.

This could be the last time that the fair is held in its centre city location after the organiser Sociedade Gestora de Exposi
