More violence in Kenya.

At least 12 people are believed to have died in another day of violence in Kenya partly fuelled by the shooting of opposition member of parliament Melitus Were in the capital in the early hours of 29 January.

Soon after the murder clashes broke out in Kibera slum, leaving at least four people dead.

Three more people are confirmed dead in other poor areas of the capital.
