The 2010 Global Peace Festival (GPF) and its accompanying convention are being held in Nairobi on 17 - 20 November. Both events have the backing of Kenya's president Mwai Kibaki.
Founded by Hyun Jin Moon (also known as Preston Moon), the third son of the founder of the Unification Church Sun Myung Moon, the GPF is an international body that brings together volunteers in community activities and interfaith initiatives.
