United Kingdom visa fees are to go up from 1 April according to a statement issued by the British High Commission in Accra. Standard and transit visas will cost 815,000 cedis rather than 555,000 cedis, a six month visa will cost 1,170,000 cedis (up from 925,000 cedis), a student visa 1,835,000 cedis (up from 1,575,000) and one-year, two-year and ten-year visas 3,700,000 cedis (up from 1,575,000). The new fees incorporate the 183,000 cedis handling charge previously levied separately by Visa Facilitation Services (VSF), the British High Commission
