Cape Town-based Zimbabweans are to hold a day of prayer for their country on 8 July. The event, organised by the newly formed Zimbabwe Social Forum, will take place at His People Centre at N1 City from 12.00 to 14.00. Drawing together Zimbabwean students and professionals and friends of Zimbabwe, the forum advocates political dialogue as the main solution to the long-running economic, political and humanitarian crisis in the country. It also seeks to provide occasional assistance to needy Zimbabweans back home. For information contact the interim coordinator Glen Mpani on tel. +27 (0) 761233652.
