Ghana’s third National Policy Fair takes place in Accra, from 16 - 21 April, under the theme "Building together in a better Ghana”.
Designed as a platform for dialogue between policy makers, implementers and the public, the event is being held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
All government ministries, departments and agencies are due to participate as well as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
Issues up for discussion include such topics as the economy, energy, national development, roads, health, education and the creative arts.
The country’s information minister Fritz Baffour said the event was organised in line with his adminstration’s "Better Ghana Agenda", a commitment to provide citizens with information on how their government was utilising oil, gas, mineral and forest resources, as well as tax revenue.
