Kirstenbosch Winter Concerts.

7 May-29 Oct 2006. Cape Towns top musical talent performs in the comfort of the Silvertree Restaurant at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden for the 2006 edition of the Kirstenbosch Winter Warmer Concert Series. The programme of Sunday evening concerts includes funk-rock, reggae and hip-hop band Bed on Bricks on 21 May and acoustic-rock outfit Flat Stanley on 28 May. Singer-songwriter and guitarist Robin Auld performs songs from his new album Jungle of One on 4 June and legendary Cape Town diva Tina Schouw joins forces with singer-songwriter Ernestine Deane and poet Malika Ndlovu for an evening of song and poetry on 11 June. Other names to look out for are pop-rock singer Louise Carver on 2 July and acoustic guitar maestro Steve Newman on 6 August.
