About 50 restaurants have signed up for this gastronomic week in Nairobi. Clients will be offered a choice of special three-course menus from KSh 1,250 to KSh 1,750 per person.
This event is well-established in European capitals, as well as Toyko and Cape Town but it is the first time it is being held in Nairobi.
The restaurant week follows the French food festival, A Taste of France, at the Nairobi Serena Hotel from 22-24 Jan. The four-day event, now in its third year, offers diners a four-course menu under the guidance of French Michelin chef Arnaud Faye from Auberge du Jeu de Paume in Chantilly.
