Nairobi celebrates world music day at the Alliance Francaise with Peter Elungat, Ghetto Classics, Kiu, Octave and Anto Neosoul, one of Kenya’s top soul vocalists.
World Music Day was first launched in France in 1982 to coincide with the summer solstice on 21 June and it now takes place all over the world.
On 24 June there is an Afro jazz concert with the Ricky Na Marafiki band.
