Screening of Berlin Calling

The screening of the movie Berlin Calling by Hannes Stöhr marks the inauguration of Ten Cities, a series of screenings of feature films and documentaries by musicians and writers. It focuses on various aspects and subcultures of club music, including underground, hip hop and Brazilian Baile Funk from around the globe. Berlin Calling tells the fictitious story of the Berlin-based techno-DJ Ickarus, who contemporarily tours techno clubs around the world and works on a new studio album. His many commitments push him to take all sorts of drugs. A PMA tablet causes him a terrible psychosis, which dangerously affects both his new album and upcoming live performance.
