Building collapse in Dar es Salaam.

A ten-storey building under construction in central Dar es Salaam collapsed on 21 June, killing one person and injuring several others. The victim, Shamte Said, was in a smaller building next to the unfinished structure on Mtendeni Street that was also brought down by the collapse.

Six people are being held for questioning by police in connection with the accident, including the building
