Nairobi to get stadiums for cricket and rugby

President Kenyatta promises two new stadiums for Nairobi.

Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to build two "world-class" stadiums - one for cricket, the other for rugby - in Nairobi over the next five years.

Kenyatta has said that the two sporting arenas would be completed on the conclusion of his second term of office in 2022.

The government said that land has been allocated for the two proposed stadiums whose location has not yet been revealed.
