The government has revoked the licences of all traditional healers with immediate effect in an attempt to stop the recent spate of killings of albinos in some parts of the country. Nearly 40 albinos have been murdered in Tanzania in the last year and their body parts used by witchdoctors in potions which they claim will bring good fortune in business or love.
