5 Nov-23 Dec 2009. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Goethe-Institut commemorates this historic event with six fiction and documentary films, shot between 1987 and 2009, which reflect on different issues related to the wall.

The programme includes Goodbye, Lenin! by Wolfgang Becker (2003), which won the Best Film Award at the European Film Awards in 2003, and The Lives of Others by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (2005). Both films will be screened at the Silverbird cinema in Accra Mall.
