Eleven contemporary Ethiopian artists are showing their work at the Circle Art gallery in Nairobi in an exhibition curated by Mifta Zikele.
Most of the artists were born and live in Addis Ababa and their work reflects the dramatic changes and urban development in the country as well as more abstract themes such as shape, movement, light and identity.
All of them are graduates of the Addis Ababa Alle School of Fine Arts and Design.
Circle Art Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space and consultancy agency for collectors and East African artists alike.
