Changing Faces Exhibition

Various emerging and established South African artists have come together for this exhibition, entitled Changing Faces. On display are a series of portraits, which reflect on the changes in the portrait genre within a South African context. South African masters of the caliber of George Pemba, Irma Stern, Maggie Laubser, William Kentridge, Marlene Dumas, Asha Zero, Anton Kannemeyer, Tracy Payne, Claudette Schreuders, Mary Sibande, Pieter Hugo and Roelof van Wyk, have explored this subject from a contemporary point of view, providing viewers with a sense of this shift in perspective. www.barnardgallery.com
