Cycle through Ethiopia for Maternity Worldwide

30 Oct-13 Nov. Described by organisers Maternity Worldwide as a trip of a lifetime, this two-week cycling event begins in Addis Ababa and finishes in Gimbi in western Ethiopia. Maternity Worldwide is a charity based in England whose aim is to combat maternal health problems in Africa. Over the last four years it has raised enough money to fund a birth clinic in Gimbi which is provided with skilled maternity staff. In addition the charity has established a fund for those least able to pay for care. The cycle itself promises to be an exciting and fulfilling experience. The charity is actively seeking volunteers to help them to help others.
