30 May 2006. Prize-winning bass Jacques-Greg Belobo from Cameroon performs in concert at the Alliance Franaise. Born in Yaound in 1971, Belobo studied at the Conservatoire National de Rgion de Nice and then at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. Based in Germany but giving regular performances in France and Switzerland, he is committed to promoting opera in Africa. To this end in 2005 he gave a master-class to up-and-coming opera singers in Zimbabwe and he had held workshops in Burkina Faso and Cameroon. 20.00.
