14-15 March 2008. Displaced artisans from the former Maiyegun Art Center at Lekki beach car park present and sell their arts and crafts at a two-day bazar at the Goethe Institut in Lagos. The artisans lost their livelihood in August last year when Lagos state government bulldozed the popular arts centre allegedly without warning, leading to the loss of property and artwork valued at tens of millions of naira. The proceeds raised from this sale of their work will be used to support a new beginning for the group. On 15 March at 16.00 there will be a roundtable discussion titled
