25 Nov-1 Dec 2006. This years edition of the annual Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) festival organised by Accra-based private radio station Citi 97.3 FM ends on 1 Dec with a concert in the capital to coincide with farmers day, a national holiday. The line-up includes legendary Ghanaian and Caribbean band Osibisa, Agya Koo Nimo, Ben Brako, George Darko, Paapa Yankson, Thomas Frimpong and Paulina Oduro. The festival, which opened with a performance of traditional Ghanaian music and dance in Kumasi on 25 Nov, aims to celebrate Ghanaian music in all its various forms.
