Photofesta Maputo 2006.

This is the third edition of the biennial international photography festival in Maputo organised by the Mozambican Photography Association, the Photography Training and Documentation Centre and the French-Mozambican Cultural Centre (CCFM). Exhibitions include a show of work by 16 young Swiss photographers in On the roadagain at the Centre for Brazilian Studies (Avenida 25 de Setembro 1728, Mon-Fri 10.00-18.00, Sat and Sun 14.00-18.00) and another of work by Namibian photographer Helga Kohl at the CCFM. There will also be a four-day photography workshop organised by the Photography Training and Documentation Centre in conjunction with the Bieler Fototage international photography festival in Switzerland (16-20 Oct). Exhibitions and events at venues throughout Maputo.
