South African Airways Cape Town flower show.
26-29 Oct 2006. Members of the public, horticultural societies, garden and flower clubs and commercial growers and retailers exhibit fresh flower displays, new and unusual plants for the house and garden, wild flower specimens and displays of fruit and vegetables at the annual Cape Town flower show. This year the event takes place in a new, larger venue on the Lourensford wine estate in Somerset West, 45 km west of Cape Town. Garden designers are also on hand to help visitors plan their own feature gardens. Entrance R40 adults, R25 senior citizens, children under 12 free.10.00-19.00.
