26 Feb-2 March 2008. Using Cape Town inner-city venues, this annual performing arts festival emphasises developing original work and re-staging pieces outside the conventional performance spaces: on the streets, in train stations, churches and other venues. Curated by Brett Bailey and Jay Pather, the festival is organised by the Africa Centre, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting contemporary African arts and culture. This year part of the festival will be hosted by the Whale Well at Iziko South African Museum. For programme details contact the Africa Centre.
