The Muson Festival 2009.

This annual festival, now in its 12th edition, features a variety of events ranging from drama presentations and art exhibitions to traditional concerts by Nigerian artists, classical concerts by international musicians and dance performances. The festival opens with celebrations for Muson Day, which marks the 26th anniversary of the founding of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON). On this occasion the MUSON Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert of work by Fela Sowande, Ebenezer Obey, Tony Martins and Mozart.
